- Wiper seal: it helps in preventing the entry of external contaminants into the internal assembly of the cylinder.
- Rod and piston seal: it prevents the metal-to-metal contact between moving parts and helps in maintaining the rod and piston to the centre.2. STATIC SEAL KIT:
This type of seal kit seals the part of the cylinder that which are not in relative motion. These are used on the parts based on the location where the construction goes on or the look of the cylinder. A basic example for a static seal kit is the seal between the connecting rod and the piston of the cylinder.
